NO 5 STAR PULLS AND I HAVE BEEN PLAYING SINCE THE BEGINNING OF GENSHIN IMPACT.
I am a huge supporter of the game ever since the beginning of the release in PC, I was quick to grind the game until that second "wall" after getting stuck on AR20 (end of the earliest updates, where the story stopped for months). Everyone from my friends were able to pull a 5-star character at this point even though I was able to play earlier and kept grinding those commissions ASAP.
Eventually after really forcing my way to do a lot of wishes I honestly believe I was past 50+ wishes at this point, STILL NEVER GOT A 5-STAR CHARACTER. I quit the game eventually and came back after the second major update (Liyue, geo-world); I remember returning to the game hoping that I could actually pull one (they gave out free primogems for awaiting the update), and I saw a post about having a "sure 5-star" in 90 wishes. In all honestly I played a bit more and tried to wish it out, guess what: NEVER GOT ONE. Again, I quit the game as it failed to make me feel my worth.
Fast forward to now, I came back seeing great improvements to the game and a lot of my friends encouraging me back to the game. I felt very sad coming back as the music reminded me how many times I HAVE WISHED AND WAS NEVER GRANTED ANYONE. I mustered my guts and when I wished again (ATLEAST 15 WISHES), I didn't get any 5-star. So if someone here is saying "You are sure to get a 5-star after 90 wishes", I want to believe them but I can assure you that I'm just this unlucky?

I would just believe that I absorb all of the "bad luck" for those around me and let others have their luck. I'm just posting this as I actually really want to play the game but with all of this wishing experience creating this trauma of pure unluckiness, diving back in the game gets harder and harder. Believe me, I have grind a lot from he start and it saddens me that I cannot experience the new direction this game has been offering which I have been supporting for the very start.
I know there's nothing that can be done, but I did one more wish and I'll let that be the last for the time being until I can accept this type of faith.

People might think this is a joke but I have been a member since September 2020.
The word "Wish" haunts me to this day as it actually never granted me anything.
I want everyone to enjoy the game! This post hopefully helps future players going on to at least let them know someone has already accounted this amount of bad luck.
I do not hate the game and mihoyo, I actually love this game so much, but this string of bad luck hurts me. Supporting the game and community as always but now stepping away indefinitely. (WONT BE ABLE TO REPLY TOO MUCH AFTER POSTING IT)

Thank you to everyone commenting and messaging me! I know this post seems a bit too negative but really I'm leaving this with no malice to the game and simply accepting this as bad luck (or for others really bad gameplay/meta dependence from me, and I can accept that hoping others can learn from this).
To my friends, this has been a running joke where every time I wish I'm the least likely to get even a 4 star character let alone a 5 star character. All banter now for our humor.
